Program Features
Malaika’s full-day school program uses rigorous curricula to ensure students are at or above grade level in reading, writing, problem-solving, and social/emotional skills.
Research has shown that transitioning children to elementary school prior to 8 years old disrupts reading skill building. From birth to age 8, children learn to read. After, children read to learn. As part of an organizational commitment to continued growth, Malaika began offering elementary classes (through grade 3) in 2015.
